Versatile,
practical and
future-oriented
job training

From food technologist to IT system administration to wholesale and foreign trade business administration, to logistics specialist to mechatronics, we offer job training programmes where colleagues give you hands-on instruction. We go to great lengths to prepare you for your time with us after your training.

Exciting and
responsible tasks
and trainee projects

After getting familiar with the varied tasks in your training programme, there will always be projects in other areas that you can participate in; for example, one of our dual students is planning, filming and editing Instagram reels that portray the workdays of our trainees.

Many different
options for further
development

Even before you’ve completed your programme, we offer further training and development options, like seminars especially for job trainees, to prepare you for your future career.

Action Days
and
development courses

In addition to the Welcome Week at the start of your programme, there is an annual Action Day, where you meet the other job trainees in the entire Stern-Wywiol Gruppe and learn to face challenges with them as a team.
Also, all trainees take four courses to prepare them for the working world: “Let’s Talk,” Self-Management, Personal Presentation, and General Communication Skills.

What do especially like about the education here?

I’ve only been here since 1 August 2022, but I can say that I really like my colleagues and the working climate. If you have a question, you can ask any time and they help as much as the can. In addition to professional training, the company offers a lot of personal development courses, which I like a lot.

Is there an assignment you particularly enjoyed?

Thus far I’ve only been in the Logistics department. I like the work there and think it’s interesting. My tasks primarily involve order handling, which has a lot to do with making out documentation. In the coming months I’ll learn about other areas like Customer Service and Purchasing. I think every area offers a good mix of fun and variety.

Why would you recommend dual study at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe to others?

I can definitely recommend dual study at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe. I can’t say anything about the theory phase yet, since it’s still ahead of me. But if you’re an open and ambitious person interested in variety, then I think dual study at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe is a very good decision.

What do especially like about the education here?

The combination of theory and practice and the fact that you can immediately put what you learn in theory into practice. The contact with customers and suppliers from all over the world.

Tell us about an assignment you particularly enjoyed.

I was able to visit several customers in Milan and Naples together with a colleague from Sales.

Why would you recommend job training at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe to others?

Right from the start I was given responsible tasks and not only do I get to look over my colleagues’ shoulders, but I’m also welcomed into every team like a fully-fledged member.

What do especially like about the education here?

The helpfulness of the colleagues, and the option of further development through courses and other programmes.

Tell us about an assignment you particularly enjoyed.

I especially liked that it enabled me to start working independently quickly, thanks to the fact that whenever I had a question colleagues were glad to answer.

Why would you recommend job training at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe to others?

I can recommend job training at the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe with a good conscience! As a second-year trainee in Food Technology, I’ve found out quite a bit about the profession and what it involves from the colleagues here.
