Happy Birthday, Stern-Wywiol Galerie!

Ten years ago today our Stern-Wywiol Galerie opened its doors for the first time. Since then it has put on 40 exhibits of contemporary art by German and international newcomers and established artists. Three-dimensional art, or sculpture in all its forms, is a special passion of our gallery. It also exhibits selected painting works.
“As I see it, any business activity – regardless of the industry or products it involves – is also a work of art, as creativity, imagination and the joy of seeing something take shape are fundamental elements of both. To me, art is stimulation, a source of ideas, and sometimes also an opportunity for contemplation,” says Group founder Volkmar Wywiol of his motivation to operate an own gallery.
