In 2012, Berg+Schmidt Oleo laid the foundation for the development of innovative and technologically sophisticated cosmetic ingredients by establishing its own division for cosmetic specialties.

Starting with the sale of shea butter, which is known today under the name BergaCare SB and is a widely used raw material, the successful subsidiary of the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe now offers a whole range of emulsifiers, consistency agents, additives and other active ingredients that improve the skin quality of its consumers.
